Casa de Ángeles was officially established in 2018 as an LLC — mostly because I believed we needed a "proper" business before we could actually do anything. (A classic Elina move — I do love my order). Roberto and I had every intent to sell his art on t-shirts from the start, but long story short, we sat on CDÁ for years.

We spent that time building careers in the TV and film industry, eventually slowing down to buy a house outside the city and start our family. After a few years spent renovating our home and raising our babies, the urge to create — which was always humming around in the background — finally found its moment.

Around 2023, Roberto picked up sewing for the first time and began experimenting with screen printing. It took a couple more years of trial and error, but we finally launched CDÁ in July of 2025. This time, it felt "even more official" because we actually had a website and finished products to share :)

We’ve always said that Casa de Ángeles isn’t just one thing. We aren't interested in building a standard clothing brand or just selling artwork. CDÁ was established as a creative home for all the artistry coming from our family.

Currently, our days are filled with crafting kimonos and bags from vintage military supplies, digital art and painting, and making music from our dining room table.

We are based in Greenwood Lake, New York, and we are grateful you’re here. Thank you for supporting this house.
